Pitching Eligibility
- You have a serious business case related to China
- You are interested in expanding to Shenzhen, but have not yet fully setup there
- You are based in Germany, Switzerland or Japan, or related to one of the three markets
- Scale-Up Group: your company was founded no earlier than 2016.01.01
- Start-Up Group: you do not have a registered company yet
Time Line
- Application Deadline: 2021.09.10
- Screening Result Announcement: 2021.09.15
- Qualification Round: 2021.09.25
- Global Final: 2021.10.29
Pitch Battle
- You get 3 minutes to pitch via Zoom in front of the jury panel with China experts and investors
- You can use a different pitch deck for the pitch
- The pitch must be delivered in English
- Jury panel will challenge you live and announce result after all pitches conclude
- First place winners in both groups will be invited to participate in the Grand Final in Shenzhen in Q4, gain spotlight on stage and compete with other teams from China head-to-head.
Prize Scale-Up Group
- 1st Place Winner x1: CNY 50.000 / EUR 6.250
- 2nd Place Winner x2: CNY 30.000 / EUR 3.750
- 3rd Place Winner x3: CNY 20.000 / EUR 2.500
Prize Start-Up Group
- 1st Place Winner x1: CNY 30.000 / EUR 3.750
- 2nd Place Winner x2: CNY 20.000 / EUR 2.500
- 3rd Place Winner x3: CNY 10.000 / EUR 1.250
